Perbedaan yang terdapat dalam organisasi seringkali menyebabkan terjadinya ketidakcocokan yang akhirnya menimbulkan konflik. Pada dasarnya ketika suatu organisasi ada, maka sesungguhnya terdapat banyak kemungkinan timbulnya konflik. Konflik dapat menjadi masalah yang serius dalam setiap organisasi, tanpa peduli apapun bentuk dan tingkat kompleksitias organisasi tersebut, jika konflik tersebut dibiarkan berlarut-larut tanpa penyelesaian. Karena itu keahlian untuk mengelola konflik sangat diperlukan bagi setiap pimpinan atau manajer organisasi.

Terjadinya konflik dalam setiap organisasi merupakan sesuatu hal yang tidak dapat dihindarkan karena orang-orang yang terlibat dalam organisasi mempunyai karakter, tujuan, visi, maupun gaya yang berbeda satu sama lain. Akan tetapi, tidak semua konflik merugikan organisasi. Konflik yang ditata dan dikendalikan dengan baik dapat menguntungkan organisasi sebagai suatu kesatuan. Dalam menata konflik dalam organisasi diperlukan suatu behaviour yang baik, seperti keterbukaan, kesabaran serta kesadaran semua pihak yang terlibat maupun yang berkepentingan dengan konflik yang terjadi dalam organisasi. Hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah bukan bagaimana meredam konflik, tapi bagaimana menanganinya secara tepat, sehingga tidak merusak hubungan antarpribadi bahkan merusak tujuan organisasi. Oleh karena itu, sangatlah wajar bila organisasi merasa perlu untuk mengelola setiap konflik menjadi sebuah kekuatan yang mempersatukan setiap perbedaan. Konflik yang dibiarkan berkembang akan menciptakan masalah yang
berujung pada pertentangan yang mengancam kekuatan organisasi.

Konflik janganlan sampai menjadi arena saling menghasut untuk mengaburkan visi organisasi, ataupun menciptakan ketegangan yang mengganggu proses kerja organisasi. Untuk itulah manajer atau pimpinan dalam organisasi harus mampu mengelola konflik yang terdapat dalam organisasi secara baik agar tujuan organisasi dapat tercapai tanpa hambatan-hambatan yang menciptakan terjadinya konflik. Manajer atau pimpinan harus mampu mendiagnosis sumber konflik serta memilih strategi pengelolaan konflik yang sesuai sehingga diperoleh solusi tepat atas konflik tersebut. Dengan pola pengelolaan konflik yang baik maka akan diperoleh pengalaman dalam menangani berbagai macam konflik yang akan selalu terus terjadi dalam organisasi.

Konsep dasar pelatihan ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman konflik, mendeteksi tanda-tanda eskalasi konflik, menanggapi tanda-tanda tersebut dengan tindakan yang tepat dan akhirnya menggunakan teknik yang efektif untuk menyelesaikan konflik. Program ini berfokus pada aspek-aspek positif dan yang sangat produktif untuk menyelesaikan konflik, dan menjelaskan bagaimana peserta bisa mendapatkan keuntungan dari situasi yang sering dianggap sebagai negatif dan destruktif.

Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk membantu karyawan dan pimpinan agar dapat berpikir dan bertindak secara positif, dan secara cerdas mengelola setiap konflik menjadi kekuatan yang mempersatukan organisasi dan stakeholders dalam satu visi yang terarah kepada sasaran yang tepat. Compressor is known for its capability to store energy in the form of air pressure. In industrial application, compressors are completed with auxiliaries to control the air flow, pressure, and actuators. Compressors will become advantage if it’s operated and maintained properly. Compressors principles and their system performance however should be understood by operator and any person who get involved with them to increase performance of the operation, maintenance, safety, etc.

MATERI PELATIHAN Compressor Operation, Maintenance & Troubleshooting

1. FUNDAMENTALS:
* Explain the theory of air/gas compression.
* Describe how altitude and moisture affects the compression of air.
* Describe the principles of operation of positive displacement and dynamic compressors.
* Define air compression terminology such as absolute and gauge pressures, compressor
* Displacement and compressor capacity, free air, volumetric efficiency, single and double acting, single and multistage.
* Given relative data, perform basic calculations to solve for compressor displacement and compressor volumetric efficiency.

2. RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS:
* State and describe the different types of single and multi-stage reciprocating compressors, state the function of the various compressor parts, including valves.
* Describe the methods employed to cool air or gas during compression.
* List and describe the different types of prime movers used for compressors.

3. ROTARY COMPRESSORS:
* Describe the principles of operation, their application, volume and pressure capabilities, methods of regulation, advantages and disadvantages of the following types of (positive displacement) rotary compressors:

1. sliding vane
2. the lobe type
3. roots type
4. screw
5. liquid-sealed

4. CENTRIFUGAL AND AXIAL COMPRESSORS:
* Describe the design and operation of the volute and diffuser type centrifugal compressors.
* Describe the design and operation of the single-stage double-flow and the four-stage centrifugal compressors.
* Describe the design and operation of an axial flow compressor.
* State the causes and remedies of compressor surging.

5. COMPRESSOR SYSTEM AUXILIARIES:
* Describe the design and operation of intercoolers and aftercoolers; state their location within the system, describe the maintenance requirements of these components.
* State the need for air receivers, their preferred location, and the inspection and maintenance requirements as per Code.
* Describe the use of air filters, list and provide a description of the different types commonly used.

6. OPERATION, CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE:
* Explain the following methods employed to control compressor output:

1. Start/stop, dual control
2. Variable-speed
3. Suction line valve
4. Suction or discharge valve
5. Adjustable stroke
6. Variable clearance volume

* List and describe the operation of the various types of controllers and safety devices used in a compressed air system. Describe how these devices can be tested while system is in operation.
* Describe the internal and external methods of compressor lubrication.
* State the various operational checks done by an operator on both the compressor(s) and the compressed air/gas system to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* State the preventive maintenance requirements of compressors, auxiliaries, piping and receivers.
* State the probable causes of compressed air/gas compressor, receiver or pipeline explosions.

7. ACT, REGULATIONS AND CODES:
* The candidate is expected to be able to locate information relating to the staffing, operation, maintenance, inspection, and testing of the compressor plant and its equipments.

Salah satu cara yang efektif untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh individu , baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari atau dalam pekerjaannya adalah dengan menggunakan sebuah pendekatan yang dikembangkan oleh Osborne Panes.
Osborne Panes merancang 6 langkah untuk memetakan permasalahan, yang dimulai dari proses penampungan kemungkinan sumber amsalah hingga menentukan secara tepat solusi alternatif dan membuat keputusan untuk kemudian dijalankan.
Dalam program ini, peserta akan dilatih begaimana mengidentfikasi masalah yang masih sumir hingga melakukan penajaman permasalahannya hingga menentukan langkah –langkah pengambilan keputussan. Dalam program ini juga, peserta berlqtih membuka pikiran dari blocking mind hingga menggunakan teknik-teknik berpikir kreatif yang sesaui dengan karakter diri masing-masing.

This programme is designed to provide maintenance planners, maintenance and reliability engineering, and maintenance managers with the skills and knowledge to enable and facilitate the development of an advanced and integrated maintenance cost control management system, outage management and asset management. Cost control, outage management and asset management is designed to build competency in work control as a primary skill set in the competency map for facilities maintenance management. Maintenance cost control, outage management and asset management introduces delegates to concepts and techniques that can help to lift the maintenance performance and the contribution of maintenance to business performance to a higher level.

In particular, this programme introduces delegates to techniques to drive improvements to maintenance performance through more disciplined approaches to management and workflow control processes, reliability improvement and optimization of preventive maintenance, the use of effective performance measures and decision making, and the implementation of effective logistics support for maintenance. Also covered will be: optimizing preventive and condition-monitoring activities, critical equipment analysis and critical spares control, emergency response work, and developing meaningful Key Performance Indicators. The objective of this course is to develop a sound understanding of work control so that delegates’ work management systems can be improved and streamlined to gain the results of higher productivity, greater equipment/process reliability, and lower operational costs. Critical issues, relevant to the participant’s own experiences, are identified and analyzed to maximize effectiveness and
equipment care standards. Participants can expect to formulate balanced approach to an appropriate maintenance strategy and also explore at a deep and meaningful level the true value of maintenance.
